I want to wish all the readers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2008.
Best Wishes for all of you.
I only had this little yarn left from what I bought last summer to make a cardigan for Lumi (a friend’s baby).
It’s never to early in the holiday season to enjoy a nice sweet. The shops have been selling Roscón de Reyes (Kings’ Cake) for about two weeks already. And the traditional date to eat it is the 6th of January.
So today I baked one. It’s always better than the store bought, and you know what goes into it. Fifteen days too early, I present you: Roscón de Reyes.
I took two recipes, and made my own. You can find it here.
One of my mother’s coworkers is retiring soon, and she wanted to give her a present, since they’re friends. She chose the beads, she chose the style, I just did the beading.
I will only say it measures over a meter, and it’s made of Swarovski beads, 4mm each. I am glad I did not pay for it.
This weekend we shopped for all kind of things to set our very own Xmess Tree. It was fun shopping for it, and it was fun setting it up with Jan.
Or, yet another me-me. This one is long, so click through to read it all. I don’t want to bore people with this.
