Never Too Early
Posted in Cooking on December 15th, 2007 by SadeIt’s never to early in the holiday season to enjoy a nice sweet. The shops have been selling Roscón de Reyes (Kings’ Cake) for about two weeks already. And the traditional date to eat it is the 6th of January.
So today I baked one. It’s always better than the store bought, and you know what goes into it. Fifteen days too early, I present you: Roscón de Reyes.

Some Beads Are More Expensive Than Others
Posted in Beading on December 11th, 2007 by SadeOne of my mother’s coworkers is retiring soon, and she wanted to give her a present, since they’re friends. She chose the beads, she chose the style, I just did the beading.
I will only say it measures over a meter, and it’s made of Swarovski beads, 4mm each. I am glad I did not pay for it.
