I like it too, but I have to admit I wasn&#8217;t much of a soup person until I spent a couple of often-below-zero-temperatures winters here.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_925\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/2013-03-27-19.49.53.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-925\" class=\" wp-image-925 \" alt=\"Red bell pepper soup\" src=\"https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/2013-03-27-19.49.53-1024x755.jpg\" width=\"560\" height=\"412\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/2013-03-27-19.49.53-1024x755.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/2013-03-27-19.49.53-300x221.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/2013-03-27-19.49.53-203x150.jpg 203w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-925\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Red bell pepper soup<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 16px;\">2 red bell peppers, roughly chopped<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2 onions, roughly chopped<\/li>\n<li>500 gr tomato pieces (tin or brick)<\/li>\n<li>1 l veggie broth (from cubes \/ powder \/ granules is fine)<\/li>\n<li>40 gr pre-cooked wheat (or bulgur)<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp (50 gr) goat cheese (the kind to spread on bread)<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp light cream<\/li>\n<li>salt &amp; pepper<\/li>\n<li>chopped chives, for serving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"line-height: 24px;\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 16px;\">In a soup pot, put the bell peppers, the onions, the tomato pieces and the broth. Bring everything to the boil, lower heat to simmer, and cook for 20 minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mix the soup with an immersion blender (or in batches in a jug blender) until smooth. (Sieve if desired, but I never do).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bring soup to a simmer, add the wheat and cook for 10-15 minutes (whatever it says on the package).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Remove soup from heat, add goat cheese and cream and stir to combine.
