Like that. No other description. Coming from somewhere where spaghetti means the pasta, it was a weird question, because pasta on it&#8217;s own doesn&#8217;t have much flavor. So I asked what did they mean. And they meant spaghetti bolognese, or similar. A meaty sauce with vegetables and tomato. Skip the meat, and I&#8217;ll eat it, I said. So our veggie bolognese was born. It&#8217;s <em>far\u00a0<\/em>from what an Italian would call\u00a0<em>rag\u00fa a la bolognese<\/em>, so please don&#8217;t kill me. We really call it spaghetti now.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_929\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2013-03-27-20.13.25.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-929\" class=\" wp-image-929 \" alt=\"Spaghetti\" src=\"https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2013-03-27-20.13.25-1024x768.jpg\" width=\"560\" height=\"420\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2013-03-27-20.13.25-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2013-03-27-20.13.25-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/2013-03-27-20.13.25-200x150.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-929\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spaghetti<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 16px;\">1 tbsp olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 onions, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">4 cloves garlic, minced<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">3 bell peppers (red, yellow &amp; green), finely diced<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">4 carrots, peeled and grated<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">500 gr tomato pieces (tin or brick)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">140 gr tomato concentrate \/ paste (2 small tins)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">350 gr minced quorn (or seitan or other tvp)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">1 1\/2 tbsp turmeric<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 tsp hot smoked paprika (sub sweet if not found of spicy, and double it)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">1 tbsp oregano<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">1\/2 tbsp basil<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">2 tbsp soy sauce<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">salt &amp; pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"line-height: 24px;\"><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 16px;\">Heat oil in a big pot. Add onion and garlic and cook on medium until golden. Add the bell pepper and cook for a few minutes, then add the carrot and stir through.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Add the tomato pieces, the tomato concentrate and the minced quorn. Stir to combine. Add enough water to barely cover.
