However, to do this, I had to knit something else than a baby cardigan. I have two lovely finished objects for you:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><strong>Cardigan for Lumi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sadevil.org\/gallery\/knitting\/pc231968\" target=\"_blank\" ><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sadevil.org\/gallery\/albums\/knitting\/pc231968.sized.jpg\" alt=\"Cardigan\" width=\"60%\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pattern:<\/strong> Loosely based on <a href=\"http:\/\/lookingglassknits.blogspot.com\/2007\/06\/peach-blossom-baby-jacket-pattern.html\">Peach Blossom Baby Jacket<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Yarn:<\/strong> Phildar Qui\u00e9tude, 2.25 skeins in Opera, and 1.25 in Black.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Needles:<\/strong> 4.5mm (100cm) Circular Addi Natura, and 4.5mm Mei-Mei DPNs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gauge:<\/strong> 20 st and 24 rows = 10 cm square<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size:<\/strong> Hopefully, to fit Lumi ;-)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Notes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>I made two more sets of raglan increases, to make the cardi a bit bigger. Lumi is a big baby!<\/li>\n<li>I added a black stripe over the sleeves and the body, because I wanted to.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, I made a button band with button holes, and sewed in five cute little buttons I found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.veritas.be\">Veritas<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div align=\"center\"><strong>Hat for Laura<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sadevil.org\/gallery\/knitting\/pc231963\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sadevil.org\/gallery\/albums\/knitting\/pc231963.sized.jpg\" alt=\"Hat\" width=\"60%\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pattern:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sade.sadevil.org\/blog\/pattern-menthas-hat\/\" target=\"_blank\">My own<\/a>, slightly based on the hat from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magknits.com\/Jan06\/patterns\/bee.htm\" target=\"_blank\">this baby bee hat and booties set<\/a>. And I&#8217;ll be staying for over a month, coming back to Spain to take a couple tests, and then return. Hopefully, I&#8217;ll be studying for these tests, learning dutch, and working.
