Blind Guardian is one of my fav bands, nice music, and nice band members too (at least those who I know, they know who they are ;-) ) The pity is I've only gone to one of the concerts (missed two other chances I had to see them live).
Cradle of Filth is another band I like a lot, tho it's a pity I missed their only concert here. I'll have to fix that. For the time being, I have to be happy with their albums (nice I could get their special edition of Midian)
Nightwish is a great band, in my opinion, and I love their lyrics on Wishmaster album, so if you want to check them, you can go to their site ;) And of course, Tarja has a great voice.
Tristania another good band. At least some of their albums in my opinion, most of the old records, I'd say. You know, my likes are weird ;-)
Theater of Tragedy has some albums I like, like Velvet Darkness They Fear or Aégis. Basically, those two are the ones I like. But maybe you'll find their newer stuff interesting too, try it, they have some samples online ;-)
Acid Rain it's a nice underground prog metal band that just released its first album. You can download *all* their songs from this site. They deserve a chance, since they did *all* the work themselves. Enjoy it, it's quite good for a self produced first album! :-)
Nevermore I've got two albums from them, one is their last one, Enemies of Reality, and I can say I quite like it. I hope they'll be touring here by the end of the year, so I can see them live!
Lágrimas Negras it's a nice band, with some demos on sale, and a great album from which you can get some songs in their site. You can also check the side project, Violet Moon Shining. I was grately surprised when I heard from both.
